Undergraduate introductory text

Each year a diverse mix of innovative, creative and dedicated students from many backgrounds join the Westminster family, and discover the benefits of learning in London - the UK's capital of business, law, fashion, science, media, languages and architecture.
With more than 15,000 undergraduates from over 150 nations, Westminster is one of the most popular UK universities for international students, and has thriving student exchange and Study Abroad programmes.
The media and communications research has been rated the best in the UK. More than 75 per cent of the University's research was 'recognised internationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour' in the 2008 RAE, and it was awarded excellent quality ratings for a wide range of courses. A £37.5m redevelopment of the Harrow Campus is planned and a £2m modernisation of the life sciences laboratories, and a major refurbishment of Regent Street have all been completed.

The University has more than 20,000 students (a quarter of whom are postgraduates) from over 150 nations, and is one of the most popular UK universities for international students.
The media and communications research has been rated the best in the UK, while in the 2008 RAE, communication, art, and architecture research groups were all assessed as world leading. It was also recognised internationally for research in areas such as law, life sciences and the environment, computing, business, and planning.
A £37.5m redevelopment of the Harrow Campus is planned and a £2m modernisation of the life sciences laboratories, and a major refurbishment of Regent Street have all been completed.

Directions

All the campuses are easily reached by public transport (Tube or bus). For the Regent Campus, leave Oxford Circus Tube station by Exits 1 or 4, and walk north along Regent Street for 200m. The Cavendish Campus is within walking distance of four Underground stations - Goodge St (500m), Warren St (600m), Great Portland St (600m) and Oxford Circus (800m). The Marylebone Campus is only 50m from Baker St Tube station, and Harrow Campus is just 30m from Northwick Park Tube station.
